Welcome to Ride and Parcel. This Rider Terms & Agreement ("Agreement") governs the relationship between Ride and Parcel ("Company") and every registered Rider ("Rider") who provides ride or parcel delivery services through the platform.
By registering as a Rider and using the Ride and Parcel platform, you agree to comply with the terms set out in this Agreement.
To become a Rider, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction.
Possess a valid government-issued identity document.
Hold a valid driving license for the vehicle you operate, where legally required.
Provide accurate and complete registration information.
Successfully complete the Company's verification process.
Registration does not guarantee approval. The Company may approve or reject any application at its discretion, subject to applicable law.
During registration, Riders may be required to provide:
Full Name
Mobile Number
Email Address (if applicable)
Residential Address
Profile Photograph
Driving License
Aadhaar Card or other accepted identity document
PAN Card (if applicable)
Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
Vehicle Insurance (if applicable)
Bank Account Details for payouts
Vehicle Details
The Rider is responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate and up to date.
Every Rider account is initially created with a Pending status.
The Company will verify the submitted information and documents before activating the account.
Only Riders whose accounts have been approved may log in and accept bookings.
The Company may request additional information or documents during the verification process.
Riders agree to:
Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
Maintain valid licenses, permits, and vehicle documents.
Provide safe, courteous, and professional service.
Arrive at pickup locations on time where reasonably possible.
Deliver parcels carefully and responsibly.
Maintain the vehicle in a roadworthy condition.
Keep personal and vehicle information updated.
The Rider is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle used for providing services:
Is legally registered.
Is safe and properly maintained.
Meets any applicable platform requirements.
Has valid insurance where required by law.
Is used only in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
The Company may suspend a Rider if vehicle documents expire or become invalid.
Riders may receive booking requests through the platform.
A Rider may:
Accept a booking.
Decline a booking where permitted by platform rules.
Repeated cancellation or rejection of accepted bookings without a valid reason may affect account performance or eligibility for incentives.
Rider earnings will be calculated according to the Company's applicable pricing and commission structure.
Payments may include:
Ride earnings.
Parcel delivery earnings.
Incentives or bonuses, where applicable.
Other approved adjustments.
Applicable deductions, commissions, taxes, or penalties may be applied in accordance with platform policies and applicable law.
If a Rider Wallet is provided:
Earnings, adjustments, and deductions may be reflected in the wallet.
Wallet balances are maintained according to platform rules.
Withdrawal requests are subject to verification and processing schedules.
Riders must not:
Provide false information or documents.
Share their account with another person.
Operate under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other prohibited substances.
Carry prohibited or illegal goods.
Engage in abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or unlawful conduct.
Misuse customer information.
Attempt to manipulate bookings, payments, or ratings.
Customers may rate and provide feedback regarding completed services.
The Company may consider ratings and verified complaints when reviewing Rider performance, incentives, or continued access to the platform.
The Company may suspend or terminate a Rider account for reasons including:
Submission of false documents.
Fraudulent activity.
Serious misconduct.
Repeated policy violations.
Unsafe driving or delivery practices.
Expired or invalid mandatory documents.
Violation of this Agreement or applicable law.
Where appropriate, the Company may provide notice before taking action.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law, Riders provide services through the platform as independent service providers and are responsible for complying with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
Nothing in this Agreement creates an employer–employee relationship, partnership, or joint venture between the Company and the Rider.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company is not responsible for losses resulting from:
Traffic delays.
Weather conditions.
Road closures.
Customer-provided incorrect information.
Circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
The Company may update this Rider Terms & Agreement from time to time.
Updated versions will be published on the platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform after the updated Agreement becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
This Agreement shall be governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Ride and Parcel operates. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
